Quality breeding stock.
- Bred to be the ultimate family cow. I won't sell an animal unless I trust it to perform well. Plus, they need to earn their place as part of a family. Heifers are only kept for breeding if they are an improvement over their dam, and the boys.... simply put, they better be spectacular to stay out of the freezer. All of them are given a basic start in halter training at weaning. Anyone who makes a habit of causing trouble or has at all questionable temperament gets put on the butcher list. There are already plenty of troublemakers, and beef is good stuff.
Beef on the hoof or processed through local butchers.
- Steers are typically ready to process at 24 months old. Depending on the genetic line I've had some ready as young as 16 months without grain. I generally have a range of 6mo - 2-year-old steers available for purchase.
Well-proven breeding bulls for lease.
- I keep multiple bulls in my herd. Some of them are available for lease. I have some simple requirements for hosting one of my bulls. More details coming.
